After four years of summer camp, Juniper Arts Academy saw an opportunity to rethink what summer programming could look like for our students.

In just one year, Jamie moved four times — four homes, four schools, four new beginnings. Amid constant change, one thing stayed the same: Juniper Arts Academy. Through art, mentorship, and consistent support, Jamie didn’t just survive foster care — she thrived, finding confidence, community, and the chance to lead.

With a rich background in music education, composition, and youth mentorship, Steven brings both heart and expertise to our mission of empowering youth in foster care and juvenile justice communities through the arts. Welcome Steven!
