Building Brighter Futures: The 2025–2026 Student Art Exhibition

  • City Arts Boardroom Gallery 334 North Mead Street Wichita, Kansas, 67202 United States (map)

Celebrate the creativity, growth, and talent of Juniper Arts Academy students.

Join us at CityArts for Building Brighter Futures, a special exhibition featuring artwork created by Juniper Arts Academy students throughout the 2025–2026 program year.

As Juniper celebrates five years of bringing trauma-informed fine arts education to youth in foster care and juvenile justice communities, this exhibition showcases the incredible creativity, resilience, and imagination of the young artists we serve. Every piece on display was created in one of Juniper's classes, where students are encouraged to explore new skills, express themselves, and discover the confidence that comes through making art.

The exhibition includes sensory clay work, hand-stitched sewing projects, collaborative paintings, and more—each one reflecting a unique creative journey and the joy of having a place to belong.

We invite you to experience this inspiring collection, celebrate our students' accomplishments, and see firsthand how access to the arts can help build brighter futures.
