Choir

A choral and musical group for youth ages 10-18 in the Kansas juvenile justice and foster care communities. Located in Wichita, Kansas.

  • Submit a student referral form HERE. A Juniper Arts Academy member will be in contact shortly regarding enrollment.

  • Student Advocates are pivotal volunteer roles for the Juniper Choir. Individuals can learn more and apply HERE.

Music Clubs

An ongoing music club hosted at partner youth residential facilities, giving students a variety of instrumental lessons.

  • Submit a facility referral form HERE to begin the process.

  • Students enrolled in Juniper Music Clubs learn a variety of instruments including, but not limited to, piano, guitar, ukulele, and percussion. All classes are taught by professional music educators.

Summer Camps

Music & visual arts camps in Wichita, Kansas providing quality education and community to youth in the Sedgwick County foster care & juvenile detention.

I love being able to see the progress they make in their music lessons; but I also love being able to see the progress they make in utilizing positive coping skills to interact with others. The lessons they've learned at Juniper have definitely spread beyond the songs they sing and the instruments they play.
