At Juniper Arts Academy, we bridge the gap in arts education for youth in foster care and juvenile justice communities.

We meet students where they are—offering vibrant arts programs within residential facilities, immersive camps during school breaks, and inspiring workshops with guest artists. Through creativity and connection, we open doors to self-expression, positive coping skills, and brighter futures.

99% of students served in 2024 had little or no access to fine arts education without Juniper Arts Academy.

Our Trust-Based Approach

At Juniper Arts Academy, we create a safe and supportive space where young people can heal, grow, and thrive. Grounded in the evidence-based principles of Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), our approach helps break cycles of trauma by fostering connection, trust, and resilience. Our team integrates these trauma-informed practices into every interaction, and all volunteers and teachers receive training to ensure students are seen, heard, and valued.
